Xbox Game Pass always has odd intervals throughout December and January. We receive very little to be excited about in the second half of December, and we're generally kept in the dark about what's coming up in January as well.
This year is no different, as there hasn't been a Game Pass update since December 14th, and Team Xbox hasn't given any indications regarding what will be released in January 2024. But we do know of two titles—Turnip Boy Robs A Bank and Go Mecha Ball—that will undoubtedly be available on Xbox Game Pass in January.
Day One Games That Xbox Brings
Day one games mean that Xbox Game Pass essentially pays for itself if one plays enough of them. Xbox Game Pass saw several noteworthy day-one releases in 2023, including well-received third-party titles like Lies of P and renowned first-party titles like Starfield and Forza Motorsport. It will take time to see how the Xbox Game Pass for 2024 compares to 2023, especially because the majority of the titles that will be released that year are still unknown.
Xbox Game Pass members will have to wait to see what day-one releases the majority of 2024 have in store, but in the interim, they may look forward to a few titles in January. As of right now, Turnip Boy Robs a Bank will launch on January 18, and Go Mecha Ball will launch on January 25 as part of the Xbox Game Pass scheduled for January 2024. Other additional Game Pass acquisitions are probably in the works, but as of this writing, nothing official has been confirmed to join these two titles.

Turnip Boy and Go Mecha Ball Rob a Bank are the only new Xbox Game Pass titles that subscribers can currently anticipate for January 2024; however, more are expected to be revealed in the upcoming days and weeks. Xbox Game Pass users might wish to give some of the games that are departing the service between now and January priority in the meantime. On December 31, Monster Train and Naraka Bladepoint - Deluxe Edition will likely be the two titles that Xbox Game Pass will lose. Though no formal announcement has been made, there have been rumors that Grand Theft Auto 5 will also be leaving Xbox Game Pass.
