The complete set of PC system requirements for Tekken 8 has been released by Bandai Namco, and while they are generally rather reasonable, your PC's storage will significantly exhaust, much like with its fellow fighting game Mortal Kombat 1 earlier this year.
A Core i5 or Ryzen 5 1600 CPU, a GTX 1050 Ti, and "over 8GB" of RAM will suffice on the low end; however, the Steam website states that 8GB will be enough. However, one cannot ignore the install footprint: SSDs are more affordable and larger than before, but 100GB is still a significant amount. This is particularly true if you're a die-hard lover of fighting games and wish to install Street Fighter 6, Mortal Kombat 1, and Tekken 8 simultaneously, as they would take up an incredible 260GB of space in total.
Back to the subject at hand, let's talk about numbers. What your setup should provide and what you'll need to play Tekken 8 are listed below:

Players believe that Tekken 8 may not have been properly compressed by developers due to its large storage requirements. Perhaps a few of them even made the comparison between the size of the game and Call of Duty, which at the time of writing had surpassed the 250 GB mark. Furthermore, fighting games typically take up less room than well-known Triple-A games.
The size of games has increased recently, and this normally worries players about storage needs. Players typically have to uninstall pre-loaded games from their PCs to install a single game.
When comparing the fighting game's size to that of Rockstar Games' Red Dead Redemption, which needs 150GB, it appears that compression is a problem. The demands, meanwhile, might make sense given that Tekken-8 is a next-generation fighting game with complex mechanisms and incredibly detailed models.

But Wait! Why modern Games are Hard to compress?
The storage needs of modern games have increased significantly, and the majority of them also need SSDs. Because of in-game materials like 3D models and textures, the size increases significantly. In addition, games contain millions of lines of code that are necessary for them to work.
4K textures are used in recent high-graphics games to give them a more realistic appearance. Additionally, a game's size is further increased by 3D assets with a high poly count. By the way, models can be made with fewer polygons and compressed textures to minimize sizes. But that's a challenging process because it's hard to produce high-quality graphics with condensed details.
Most developers don't consider compression to be a necessary step because it takes time. Developers are also under pressure to release the game as soon as they can due to popular demand. Furthermore, because uncompressed games load faster without using the GPU, they occasionally perform better.
A similar kind of method was applied to Alan Wake 2, which has an attractive appearance and requires less space. However, as Tekken 8 is a fighting game rather than a Triple-A title, the size requirements do raise some questions.
Although Super Ghost Fights do Answer Some Questions.
The Closed Beta Test offered this feature to the testers, and according to them, it’s very convincing. Super Ghost Battles feel like real players. They use (and drop) the same combos, run the same Oki settings after knockdowns, and default to the same round start parameters that actual players would find problematic. Moreover, the fighting pattern also resembles real-life players. When you would start gaining trust that you can predict their behavior, they change the course like real-life players. The Fight Lounge is a fun place to hang out with friends, customizing your avatars is a lot of fun, and Super Ghost Battle is something you would have been waiting for quite a long time.

Concluding Remarks
With its surprisingly high storage need of 100GB for a fighting game, Tekken 8 stunned gamers. Furthermore, the game demands high system requirements to run on a PC. However, Console users need not worry about it, as the game runs smoothly on next-generation systems like the Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5.
