Insomniac noted that players were "eagerly awaiting" new features like audio descriptions and New Game Plus in a statement that was shared on X/Twitter. With an early 2024 delivery timeframe in mind, the development team needs additional time to polish the upcoming update before making it available to players.
Insomniac Games stated in the statement, "We have been working vigilantly on these features and require more testing to ensure the quality is up to our standards." "We are now targeting Early 2024 for the next game update and we'll have a feature-complete list closer to its release."
Furthermore, Insomniac revealed that it has considered player comments and would be implementing "highly requested features," such as the ability to shift the time of day and replay missions you have already finished.
